Christmas has come early for children in Britain’s hospitals thanks to a mystery Santa .
More than £9million-worth of Christmas toys has been donated to children across the UK who will be forced to celebrate the festive period in hospital .
According to the Sun, several truckloads of goodies arrived last week at Birmingham Childrens Hospital and more will be delivered to hospitals nationwide over the next few days.

Tracy Marsh, the hospital’s fundraising chief, said: "We’d like to thank the immense generosity of this anonymous benefactor."
"These toys will bring hours of fun and games for the kids. Christmas came early for us."
