This years Christmas show at the NEC, The Magic of Christmas, is an enchanting family adventure, with plenty of snow and sparkle, in a magical land. The show promises to be a great day of fun for all the family.
Petal, the tree fairy called will guide youngsters on an enchanted journey to the Magic Village where Father Christmas needs their help to get ready for the big day.
During the magical journey, Petal will introduce you to Lester, an elf. EVERYONE will be asked if theyve been naughty or nice this year before seeing the Toy Workshop. Father Christmas will welcome guests in the Magical Forest and shows everyone how to help restore the magic of Christmas.
After the journey comes the Magical Village, an entertainment area full of colourful stalls, rides and live performances which will excite and dazzle.
Within the Magical Village is the Central Performance Area where acts such as choir singers, tap dancing reindeer and acrobats can be seen performing daring feats. Performances will be every 20 minutes. Also dont miss Little Star and friends in their amazing puppet show .
The Magical Village also has two Victorian carousels and giant inflatable snow slides. There will be an inflatable gym for young children and an ice-climbing wall for older children.
Other attractions include a Disco Igloo where the dancers teach guests some fun new moves, and a Christmas Sing-along Area. Mothers and babies take have a quiet few minutes away from the mayhem in a chill-out area.
The alpine village is surrounded by snow-capped chalets that provide excellent gift ideas ranging from toys, books, arts, crafts and accessories as well as traditional sweets, decorations and stocking fillers.
A Christmas Food Market with specialty food and treats, eateries with hot and cold food is also available. For those who go prepared, a special picnic area will be available.

The show runs from 14 23 December 2007, 10am 7pm. Last admissions are at 5pm.
The event is supporting the NCH childrens charity, a £1 donation when booking tickets will be very much appreciated.
