Play Radio Launches Xmas Station For Festive Favourites

UK radio station Play Radio has launched its festive music station - Play Xmas UK .

The online-only stream, which is back due to popular demand after making its debut last year, will play non-stop Xmas favourites until Christmas Day .

Network manager Marcus Quilter said: "It’s the perfect non-stop 24 hour a day soundtrack to get the whole family in the Christmas spirit."

"We are playing the very best Christmas pop, Christmas rock, festive tunes and traditional music for all tastes and all countries," he added.

The station’s presenter and programme controller, Lee Moulsdale, said: "Launching Play Xmas UK for the second year is very exciting, the station will be packed full with great Christmas songs of every kind and guarantees a fun filled holiday ."

Moulsdale said that this year’s programme will feature a "few extra special surprises" such as "unique Christmas songs and music written just for dogs, cats and their owners".

"Play Xmas UK is simply the best festive soundtrack available, and we are very proud to bring it to our listeners," he added.
