Best Western Launch Festive Search For Home Town Of Santa

UK hotel chain Best Western has launched a search to find the official UK home of Santa Claus .

The search for the ‘best tinsel towns in the country’ will hopefully see towns across the UK festively compete to be majestically crowned 'Best British Christmas Town of 2007'.

Declan Austin, the hotel’s 'Director of Christmas', will be helping to launch the Santa-themed search for Britain’s very own winter wonderland.

Austin said; "From Christmas markets and mulled wine to live reindeer, choir singing and traditional church services, we want to find the town that goes that extra mile to have the most festive fun."

"We want to celebrate the individuality of towns and villages across the country, particularly at this magical time. It might be the town people live in or somewhere they have visited," he added.

Users who nominate their favourite festive town will be in with a chance of winning a night at a Best Western hotel nearest to their location.

Nominations must be made by November 23rd and should be sent via email to: christmastown@bestwestern.co.uk .
